§ 34-2. No parking zones.

  • (a)

    Upon the basis of the report and recommendation of the state highway traffic and safety engineer, the city council finds that the stopping, standing, or parking of vehicles within the areas of the state highway system described in said report is dangerous to those using the highway and unduly interferes with the free movement of traffic thereon.

    (b)

    Under said authority, the stopping, standing or parking of said vehicles is prohibited within the limits of the following areas:

    State Route 25 Spur—That segment of roadway on State Route 25 Spur mile post 0.00 to mile post 0.02 both sides of the roadway, a distance of 100 feet to be zones "No Parking Anytime."

    (c)

    Signs designating no parking zones will be erected by the department of transportation.
