§ 22-71. Notification of owner and tenant.

Whenever any provision of this article is being violated and the land on which the violation exists is privately-owned, the city shall notify the owner and/or any tenant and/or any user in possession of the land on which the alleged violation exists to abate the alleged violation within 30 days of the date of service of notice. Notice shall be by personal service or certified mail addressed to the party in violation at the address where the party is determined to be located; or, if necessary, notice shall be by publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
